the one about my thankfulness

Since I have fallen behind a little bit this year on keeping up with The Kardashians my Thankful posts, I will share a little bit with you here. While it goes unmentioned I am forever thankful for my friends and family, my faith, my food, and shelter...there are a few others for which I am very thankful.

[one] I am so thankful that we have a new teeny bopper fiction series to discuss among our family and friends. No I am not talking about 50 Shades of Grey, but I did discover that very book at my parents' house, and I am pretty sure Matthew wasn't reading it. I am of course grateful that Kristen Stewart's awkward ass isn't all over TMZ as of late--it's Jennifer Lawrence's fine ass. Let's just all take a moment and relish in Katnip.

[two] People who start their fourteenth facebook status of the day with "I usually don't do this, but..." This just confirms my decision to just scroll right along and "unsubscribe" from these buggers. I can't unfriend them because then I wouldn't have anything to screenshot to text to my brother [and we make fun of you].

[three] My family members that are one step away from a guest spot on Breaking Bad. Makes me look like the Pope.

[four] Dish Network--but not the "service people." It's like a game of Russian Roulette when you think you can still go to work, even though they are going to be at your house any time between SEVEN am and SEVEN pm because last time they called at 6:55 PM to get directions to my house that they have been to 12 times before because my shit gets hit by a falling tree.

[five] J. Crew discount codes...there is one now: GIFTGIVING [25% off your order].

[six] YouTube. I could literally watch hours of videos and not even know a minute has passed. Especially when I search for "Matthew Schuler The Voice Hallelujah" and somehow click on "related links" and get to this [that is awesome]

and I somehow manage to start the Karaoke version of this song and sing like it's the only way into Heaven, only to be mortified when I discover the guy who mows the yard has been watching me for who knows how long...and I may or may not have put my hand over my ear like Mariah Carey does to hit the high notes....

[seven] Socks...they are the only item of clothing that aren't too tight after dinner.

[eight] My sense of humor. Being that I can call anyone out on almost anything makes me pretty thick-skinned and unaffected by smart-ass comments directed towards me. While this list may seem sarcastic, I am very thankful for my life and everyone in it...I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much because then you wouldn't be able to post your weekly picture of the weight you have lost...

I am taking a break from blogging until next week because I am off for Thanksgiving until Monday. What to look forward to: Thanksgiving recap, Helping Mom put her Christmas tree up,  and My family letting me know for the umpteenth time that I am taking the LSAT just to be on their dime again if I go to Law School.

until next time...
